Hello and Welome

Thank you for visiting my website.
I hope you come out and listen to Little Joe and the Cartwrights at the Elks Club, VFW in the Heights, or Levity Bar and Bistro. We do a lot of old style Country Music and a little bit of jazz. Jeff Taylor plays guitars and Clark Fletcher sings and plays drums.  We are working on a cd and I hope it will be out this year.

Wednesday night is the jazz jam at Levity Bar and Bistro. I am at the piano with Robin Martinez on the bass, Lloyd Marsh on the drums, and a rotating list of talented horn players including Tom Burke, Scott Jeppeson, Sam Woodis, Jeff Long, Jack Klein, Harby Howell, Tyler Horncoop, and Leo Steiner. Jazz musicians are invited to sit in.

I also play solo piano and sing in a variety of styles.

Joe Sullivan

Joe Sullivan, pianist, singer, composer, and arranger, grew up in Billings and earned his Music Degree at Rocky Mountain College. He has never stopped studying or practicing. In 2012 and 2013 Joe was named keyboard player of the year at the Magic City Music Awards. He has played in many groups, getting his start on the road with roots rocker and Sun recording artist Sleepy LaBeef when he was 21. He played keyboard for Billings legend, Jimmy Dressler and Big Country from 2006 - 2017. He now fronts his own groups Little Joe and the Cartwrights, and Joe Sullivan Trio. Joe also plays jazz in many venues with some of Montana's top musicians.  When Joe isn't performing and practicing, he's writing songs and arrangements. Many of his choir compositions are published and performed all over the country.
